MFS RSG! Home Visiting Program Advocates for Families in Washington, D.C.

This week, the MFS Ready, Set, Go! (RSG!) Home Visiting team is proud to participate in the Start Early National Home Visiting Summit in Washington, D.C.! 🌎👶🏽💙 The summit brings together early childhood leaders from across the country to advance the home visiting field and advocate for families in their communities.

As part of the summit, RSG! Family Support Coordinators Berenice Hernandez, Alondra Hernandez, and Program Lead Diana Contreras met with District 3 Representative Congresswoman Maxine Dexter to discuss the importance of Home Visiting Programs in Oregon—especially in East County. 🏡❤️

💡 Key topics shared included:
✅ Success stories of families supported by RSG! Home Visiting Services, highlighting the positive impact of personalized care.
✅ The role of Maternal Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) programs in improving maternal and child health, preventing child abuse, fostering school readiness, and supporting family economic self-sufficiency.
✅ The importance of continued funding and family choice in accessing diverse Home Visiting programs.

A heartfelt thank you to Congresswoman Maxine Dexter for her commitment to supporting children and families in our community!
